I once fell in love with 3 songs from JJ72, 'Snow', 'October Swimmer' and 'Oxygen', but I forgot all about them again, but then I heard Snow again in the radio and now Ive been listening to these cool songs for 3 days now.
I heard they just released a new CD, perhaps I should check it out, did any of you people hear anything from it?

Nope, I'm sorry. And btw: I don't like this band. The only good thing is that they have this nice, pretty babe on the bass, that's all.
Well, they might be good musicians but I don't like the voice of the singer. It's terrible. Like a crying baby or something like that. *brrr*

Perhaps I'll listen to the new CD. I hope the have changed a bit...

and about the voice, I read that he has gotten it more under control now

the new cds has got good critics. I have heard some songs and my critic is: he sings even higher than on the other cd! and I think it is even more melodic. so check it out!

Mal ganz abgesehen von der Bassistin machen JJ72 meiner Meinung nach großartige Musik. Gestern wollte ich mir die neue CD kaufen...es blieb jedoch bei einer Hörprobe, die die Wut über den Preis jedoch nur gesteigert hat. Gibt eigentlich irgendjemand 18€ für eine CD aus? Ich jedenfalls nicht...und da kann die Musik noch so gut sein...so ein Preis ist in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt und Wucher. 10€ für eine CD, und das Downloadproblem der Musikindustrie ist gelöst - meine Meinung.
Na ja zurück zu JJ72...ich kenne die neue Single "Formulae" (wo ich das Lied wohl herhabe ) und finde sie annähernd so gut wie z.B. "Snow" oder "Oxygen". Was ich gestern dann kurz gehört habe macht Lust auf mehr...viel mehr. Aber bis ich diese CD (heißt übrigens "I To Sky") in meinen Händen halte werden wohl noch Jahre vergehen. Die erste CD von JJ72 ("JJ72") habe ich in diesem Frühjahr gekauft...für 2€ bei Karstadt...warum nicht gleich so?

Also mir hat das erste Album von JJ72 auch sehr gut gefallen. Die Stimme des Sängers ist einfach mal was ganz anderes und die Musik echt cool.
Jednefalls hab ich es heut auch mal geschafft mir das aktuelle Lied runterzuladen und muss sagen auch das ist wirklich klasse.

@Scot: Ich muss dir voll und ganz zustimmen. Was die Plattenindustrie seit der Einführung des Euros betreibt ist eine Sauerei. Man bekommt kaum noch eine CD unter € 17,-. Früher hab ich für keine CD mehr also DM 29,99 bezahlt! Aber zum Glück gibt es Anbieter wie amazon.de wo man wirklich Schnäppchen machen kann. Das neue JJ72 Album kostet dort wenigstens etwas weniger, als du sagtest (um genau zu sein € 15,99) und wenn man sich dort jetzt neu anmeldet, bekommt man einen € 5,- Gutschein und ab € 20,- liefern die versandkostenfrei.

Ich weigere mich auch strikt CDs zu kaufen, die teurer sind als 15,- Euro. Bei den letzten beiden gekauften CDs hatte ich Glück. Die musste ich nämlich beide unbedingt haben und habe letztendlich für die Foo Fighters (One By One) als Doppel-CD (also Audio-CD plus Bonus-DVD) nur knapp 13,- Euro oder so bezahlt. Und für die neue Pearl Jam (Riot Act) nur 14,99 Euro.

P.S.: Wieso funzt das Euro-Zeichen bei euch und bei mir nicht? Bei mir sieht's so aus €

I also like the single Formulae really much, and I think I will wait with buying the album till it gets on sale
They're soon coming to play here around the middle of december, and I think I'd rather spend the money to go to a gig with them than to buy the CD. I just hope I'll have the time to go
Hehe maybe I can even find someone who makes a boot of the gig!
