Mhh da ich den Song in den letzten Tagen ziemlich oft höre, bin ich wieder mal ins interpretieren und grübeln gekommen..
@Magenta oder sonstwen der den Song so furchtbar gut interpretieren kann (für mich gibt er immer noch Rätsel auf)

ich hab auch keine ahnung, aber "purple eyeballs made of china" heißt nicht aus China, sondern "lila Augenbälle aus Porzellan"

nicht, daß uns das echt weiterhilft

auch sehr interssant deine interpretation.

also für mich ist das, glaub ich, so ein text aus dem ich nie wirklich schlau werde. also allgemein. aber wahrscheinlich kann man das ganze auch nur verstehen, wenn man es selbst geschrieben hat.

Ich glaube ganz fest daran, dass ich irgendwann SEHR schlau daraus werde. Mit Liedern ist es bei mir nämlich so, dass eine bestimmte Zeit, eine Reife kommen muss, oder auch einfach nur eine Erfahrung, um einen Text autobiographisch verwendbar für mich zu machen.. So ging es mir mit allen K's choice texten.. Ganz zuerst machten nur wenige Sinn, aber mit den Jahren befand ich mich immer wieder in Situationen wo ein Song, den ich schon 48.079 mal gehört hatte, beim 48.080. Mal urplötzlich SOVIEL Sinn machte und mir sovieles erklärte, was ich nie für möglich gehalten hatte... So geht mein Leben ständig auf und weiter und es werden immer mehr Songs, immer mehr Stücke, die sich wie in mein Leben einfügen. Und ich bin mir sicher, irgendwann ist auch Iron Flower dran

Muss dir zustimmen, dsf. Ich hab mit Gerts Texten auch oft erhebliche Probleme und ich glaube, es gibt generell gar keinen Song von Gert, der mir so völlig klar und erschlossen ist, wie die von Sarah..

Und wahrscheinlich gibts auch Leute, bei denen das genau andersherum ist
